I'd recommend signing up for Google Apps account as opposed to just gmail account. You can then have shared calendar, shared docs, etc. for up to 10 people on the same domain for FREE It is still a gmail account so it's in the cloud etc. but it is your domain name. ...and yes I know you can forward your email to your gmail account but this is much more efficient and easy to setup multiple email addresses with "aliases" so you can setup firstname.lastname@example.org and create rules to auto-reply with info etc. But the ultimate question will it sync with iPad, iPhone, Droid, PC and Mac the answer is YES. You can even use Outlook with your Google apps account. I have an iPad and now have the iPhone 4S (which I do not like so far) but I had the Nexus S prior to switching to the iPhone. Your Google mail (gmail or Google apps) will function much more efficiently on the droid platform as opposed to the apple platform for your phone! Especially when you throw in Google Voice to the mix - so that your voice messages are transcribed and emailed or text' to you! Remember Google developed the droid operating system so they have hooks built in already for their own Apps!!!
TOO much focus on how difficult the game is... ...go try it...if you enjoy it, then, yes there are opportunities to generate business on the course. You may not be great, but not many are so you'll be in good company! Learn the rules & etiquette and it won't matter how bad you are...in fact my tag line... "Today my job is to make you feel better about your own game!" Feel free to borrow it ;-)
