It appears The Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS have some major concerns with Realtors Property Resource (RPR) and will not allow agent to advance to RPR and move forward. Subject: October Greetings from Amanda Stone, 2012 President From: lyle@kaarmls.com Date: Thu, Oct 18, 2012 8:58 am “While RPR could be a wonderful member benefit, it does come with some definite limitations in its reports, such as tax data that may not be as accurate as it should be and limited search capabilities. And, there is some concern of what RPR may ultimately do several years into the product with the data received from local associations. Before approving KAAR to partner with RPR and to share certain yet-to-be determined data with RPR, the Directors referred the matter to the MLS Committee for further consideration and due diligence.” Could you help clarify what these problems might be.
I am heading out to sel a property... I will do that... AgentGenius when we reached out to KAAR last month, they declined to comment. perhaps a member would be better suited to get answers, unfortunately.
Sellers seem harder to get online
The big problem with the on-line showings (web visits) is some site count a visit each time you click on a photo of the same listing, If you look at 4 photos of the same property that counts a 4 visits to that listing.

Love my new Samsung Note 10.1 tablet. No more need for third party signing software on a listing
Got a chromebook last week for presentations (I put my presentations in dropbox.) It seems like many conference rooms are not iPad friendly yet! I also got it for when I need something meatier than the iPad like for tech conferences. I can pretty much run the brokerage on the iPad when I am out of town. This is replacing my clunky 2005 HP laptop. I roll with a windows 7 PC, iPhone & iPad. My 2005 laptop is XP Windows. Took me 5 minutes to set the chromebook up. Cost $250. Perfect solution for what I needed.
In my opinion, if you're just looking for something for occasional use, then a MacBook would be overkill. A chromebook would be fine, but from what I've read, everything works off of the Internet with google apps, so you should keep that in mind.
Hmm how about using RealBird vs the smartframe MLS search or paying for IDX? Anyone? Downsides? Upsides? Are
