Due to the popularity of the group, I turn down several obvious spammers a day requesting to join. If your privacy settings are such that I can't get any hint that you belong here, you will be rejected. Example: If your name is Pinky, your chances are slim to none that you will gain membership unless your profile gives me something more besides a photo of you wearing a tight low cut tee shirt. Feel free to message me if you feel I have made an error.
I have been sending a newsletter once a week for 7 years to my future and current sellers. It is an update on my local market. My goal is to stay connected. A side benefit is that I have to rarely ask for price reductions. The numbers speak for themselves.
One day I spent hours trying to figure out the path my listings were taking. CTMLS sends our listings to ListHub which was messing with the feed I wanted to use. Long story but I have a flow chart on my desk now.
C'mon guys! She was looking for a solution, not an indictment on her choice! LOL I agree about paper, and I've moved almost entirely to paperless. But some customers in the field still want to take a paper write-up of homes they've looked at home with them. They don't want you to email them the info (although I always do that); they want to go home, sit at the table with the spouse, and look them over and discuss. Give the client what they want, and follow up with some wow.
