Hi Frances - thank you for continuing to comment about Happy Grasshopper. From your comments yesterday, it's very clear that you have experience using email marketing tools and I'm glad that you're happy with what you're doing. Many of our customers have perfect or near perfect deliverability. We report a system wide delivery rate of 89.45% because we do not impose a double opt-in requirement on our customers. (For those who may not be familiar, double opt-in means that every person on your list must have given both you AND the email service provider permission to send them email.) Because of the care you've taken in maintaining your DB, Frances, I'm sure you would experience near perfect or perfect deliverability were you to ever try our service. Also, I would like to say that all of us at Happy Grasshopper have been overwhelmed by the volume of unsolicited testimonials posted in this group. I first became aware of WSISMMO when Victoria Jacobs posted this... http://www.facebook.com/groups/298329163552548/298891240163007/ That was January 6th and there have been dozens and dozens of positive comments and posts about our service since then. Hundreds of you have decided that HG is something you should spend your money on and I'm grateful for each and every one of you. :-)
I think deliverability is an issue with Happy Grasshopper. The company says it has an 89% deliverability rate. I use services that have 97 - 98% deliverability rates ... Think about it. If you have a list of 1,000 people, a 10% difference will cost 100 deliveries. If you are ambitious and really doing some serious list building, you are going to have many more people than that on your list. Do you really want to sacrifice that many deliveries? Deliverability is a major factor in my decision to use Aweber and InstantCustomer. It is the reason I STOPPED using MailChimp.
