Trulia just acquired Market Leader ... your thoughts? http://seekingalpha.com/article/1413411-trulia-aims-to-become-market-leader-following-the-acquisition-of-market-leader?source=email_rt_article_title
The pile on is always necessary when something out there is new and a little different. Peyman Aleagha really put himself out there and I do see some value to this. Maybe not for an end all be all solution but there is some value for those with some creativity.
Jay Thompson pure gold..thank you.. we forget about the agents without deep pockets out there trying...it just doesnt feel right to discourage them..because they dont have deep pockets.. and spending thousands on video production or websites is no guarantee either...just saying.. its what you do with this stuff that counts..
we can poke holes in anything..even expensive 3-5k "branding" sites that are pretty and useless for making money.. we can poke holes in all these apps and shiny objects..that are useless as well... Im just trying to see the good and bad with this product.. if a 99 site can generate a couple commissions ..it deserves a fair shot... will it get to top of google....? maybe not.. but plenty of pretty 3k sites not the top of google either...
ok so in contribution..heres what you can do with this 99 dollar site or a zillow 10 a month site..you can drive traffic to it.. using , sphere, email signatures, forums buyers hang like zillow, trulia answering questions, craigslist postings..open houses, send some postcards with url to it.. 2. treat the lead like a real person.(not a lead) .with offers to help..and be genuine..3.sell them a home and use the money to get a better website. Its ok to lead with revenue ..sometimes ;-)
