Return it to the originating agent and also be ready with a few referrals for agents in your area, that based on your client observation my click with on of these agents. Send a thank you note explaining to the client why u think that a business transaction between two of you will not work. My two cents at 6AM in the morning. By the way Michael McClure I think that this is one of the most amazing group when it comes to conversations that lead to a teaching and learning experience that is enhancing my skills. Safety Is a Big Concern of mine. I have a story...nothing bad happened, but since the incident occurred, I have not done a single Open House and used to call myself "the queen of open houses"...Wishing we will have in place a "body-system" for women brokers, kind of like Women in the Work Place Safety Net...
If you do not have the code of ethics engraved on your own heart, just to read the Code of Ethics and pic and choose whatever makes u comfortable as an agent or person, then I will say the Code of Ethics is not enough...Just my two cents at 5AM in the morning :). Love this group Michael McClure. Glad that I discovered it and you approved my request to join in.
Choosing written and spoken words involved is equally important. Cannot share my example without putting spotlight on a great agent...but over use of the term "rocks" causes me to have images of this real estate team and their vendor partners all playing air guitars together!
