Nothing like saying, "hey, thanks for the favor but you didn't put enough effort into it."

I often see spam in the local trulia forum as well. Have gotten one lead from there, but they ran away as soon as I presented them with a buyer-broker agreement (and then came back later to ask for advice about their chosen agent's ineptitude).

I'm fortunate enough to have friends who regularly make such comments.... I've realized that it doesn't much matter. If anything, it offers an opportunity to explain my valuation and discuss positive attributes of the home in question.

Both Trulia and Zillow have open forums on their site. Voices has amassed nearly 500,000 posts. It would seem to me that they have proven the model of whether or not consumers would want to publicly post questions.

My favorite on Trulia is when an agent from FL or CA answers MD questions. Really? Why are you even following this area, and then try to answer outside your market and license area??
