I can tell you that I don't always put my listings and sales into the MLS, then being licensed in several states, you cannot compile all of my stats together unless you have access to those 3 area boards. So for the average agent who does not have access to broker metric software, you just have to take what these agents say to be true...I always try to find the good in everyone first...but granted, that is becoming harder and harder to do these days!
No, it's pure bullcrap. We have agents in our market who sell very few homes but get tons of listings because they claim big numbers and have tons of signs in the ground. I enjoy outing them as frauds at every opportunity!
