Bryan Cordell Hi Bill...It is important to think of mobile users differently than desktop users. When you are on your desktop you generally have more time and are more willing to sign up for something. When you are on your mobile you're often in a hurry and trying to get information right away. If a potential client is on your site and is in front of a house trying to get more information...they don't want to mess with signing up and will move onto a site that doesn't require them to. The mobile sites do require registration to save a listing or request more information.
Here's my response. Bill Wagner. I don't want to get in a sparing match with you Bryan but I do this for a living and I disagree with you. Most mobile users are not sitting in front of the house. Just fix the problem. I also run a Boomtown site and my registrations are three to one to that of Market Leader and I can relate it directly to this mobile registration issue. My Boomtown site indicates whether a user registered from a PC or a mobile device. So I know that mobile users are not moving on to another site. The use of mobile devices has skyrocketed since Christmas. Let's just make this priority number 1 because as real estate agents we're all losing tens of thousands of dollars in commissions!!!!
