lol. Yes, we all spend a lot of time instant messaging for extra help. I field lots of IM's daily about calls and they all help each other out too. They still may have sent a message (IM or email) to our sales reps. Now that I have names... I can verify more easily and crack the whip. :) Thank you, Tony!
I think bounce rates tell the tale - for me anyway. When a user lands (organically) on a page with great neighborhood content (without immediately visible search results), the bounce rate is 40-50%. When an organic visitor lands directly on a page WITH visible search results, the bounce rate plummets to 20-25% - or less. So, while great neighborhood content may drive organic traffic, unless there's a VERY impressive CTA, or direct search results, almost half of them say... "next."
