Again, Mark is right. RETS is not easy, but getting it to pull for just one MLS is a lot easier than managing all the idiosyncrasies of dozens of them like we do. You can do it, Mike. Give it a try. Just be willing to invest lots of your time into it.
Chris Smith I don't know Howard at all. So I can't speak to that. Have respect for Grier and their team and I believe they feel the same about us I hope? Very friendly there. Heck I think Grier bought me some drinks at Inman. That's one of the friendly rivalries I was discussing earlier. I've often pointed out BT as being one of the companies in the space when someone asks about it - my biggest respect for them comes from the fact that even though they are in a dominant position in that space they are still attempting to innovate. Most companies do not. But, I think you misinterpret my answers perhaps though? Often times you'll find that someone says "I've heard of BT, and TL and X Y Z, is it worth the money?" to which I simply answer that clearly they know about those options but I point out that we have a similar offering that's less money. BT charges as much as they do because of exclusivity. The others do not offer the same and in many cases they ARE doing unscrupulous things like a COMPLETE mismanagement of their clients' ad campaigns. Few potential clients say I'm considering you or BT, it's often us or the other guys, to which in almost all cases we offer more for 1/3 or 1/4 the price. My whole goal in any statement is to educate to make sure that the agent makes the most informed decision - that we have an opportunity to present what we offer and if we're not right. No problem. But at least the agent is able to see all of the options available to them.
It is giving focus to the data input line of the mortgage calculator. It jumps to the place on the page where the calculator is located - remove the mortgage calculator or fix it so it does not get focus.
