Go mobile. According to Google and Bing, over 50 percent of web searches done from a mobile device are local and yet 93.3 percent of local business websites are neither mobile compatible nor render correctly from most smartphones. Mobile compatibility is critical as customers will usually move on to the next site within a few seconds if they are required to “pinch and zoom” for information. (Kind of a shame, don't you think?)
Brokers keep joining, is it because of the tools or the leads, or just because others are doing it?
Brokers who take that approach will continue to struggle, today it's about respecting each agent regardless of the color of their sign or business model.
Ken, your last paragraph is absolutely "Number One" priority. However, if the feeds are working properly at local MLS's there is no reason z. t. and r.com cannot be accurate within 24 hours or less. You think?
Just buy them out and merge them into your company. :-)
The reason I asked was some listings show up on RealBird and some not and out MLS is not feeding. Maybe they get them from Zillow, Trulia, or ListHb?

When ML bought AR Nikesh Patel was explicit in saying that they would not operate a brokerage operation. A quick check of their brokerage in Chicago area shows no transactions. They kept their word. Ginger Wilcox has come into the threads in other groups and said that realestate.com will not operate as it has been. Give the guys at Trulia some space. They're being aggressive and I admire aggressiveness. At least somebody is doing something interesting in the business, because change sure isn't coming from the brokerages. Make a list of how this impacts you and you can make one two choices: go to victim mode or think out how to leverage it. I know what I'm doing.
