No contest, Michael. I fold! Before I shirk off. I talked to a new agent today who had this to say: "I do love my job and I’m happy that I trusted God and made the decision to go into Real Estate. It was hard letting go of the security of a stable job in Corp. America, but the time I have with my mother (who is terminal) and the opportunity to help people make huge life changes (selling/buying a home) is incredible so far. I know there will be hard days and challenges, but I’m READY to roll up my sleeves and work hard !!! Thank you for your support and encouragement! I love My company and I know in my heart that I made a good choice !!!!" How'd I do, Michael? Real estate is AWESOME!
Good question, Daniel. Looking at trends in the market may show pricing above the "market price" to be the best option. Another option: What if you told buyer agents that you are accepting offers through a specific day, maybe 5-7 days, could that bring the best offer?
George W. Jackson: George, that's a counseling item with his client. I do not answer my phone when I am with clients as they deserve my full attention...or when I am driving (have laws huge fines if in certain corporate limits, school zones, or construction areas). I do return calls as soon as possible and several hours should not be considered irresponsible.
