Wow... this thread reminds me of some of my favorite rides at Disneyland! =) First and foremost, thank you everyone for your input and feedback. I had a great meeting with the agent this afternoon. I asked her how she's enjoying it here at our office and she said she was loving it! I then presented her with the email. She explained how she said that to soften the blow of leaving her old office. When I explained the concerns that it raised for me, she suddenly realized the impact of what she had done. It was very clear that it was an honest mistake and that her wording, while its intent was to gently leave the door open for a future relationship with the past broker, left a lot to be desired in its open interpretation. We left the conversation with a better understanding, appreciation and commitment to each other. She even signed up on the spot to attend our sales convention next month (a substantial commitment on her part). I am glad that I didn't jump to any conclusions, that I let her talk this through and that I trusted her actions over some poorly chosen words in an email. In the end all we really have with each other is trust... you have to give it to get it. I'm glad I gave it and in return got it back. Again thank you for your help, you all gave me a lot to think about heading into my meeting with her. Not sure what the outcome would have been had I immediately responded when I first got the email. But I know that waiting, thinking, and seeking out the advice of great people like you helped me get to an end result that both the agent and I are very happy with!

Yea, Raj's page rocks. That is definitely not just pulled from MLS.:) I even like the HD tour, pretty slick. Anyone know what service is used for this type of page and HD tour?
(not just going to 'like' this post ;) ~ So I spread the message of having #ConversationsThatMatter to Agents, Brokers, Associations and leadership - basically anyone who will listen. "Be the Change You want to see in the world" is my mantra lately. If we truly want to raise the bar, then we have to respect each others opinions and welcome the conversation so that we can work toward consensus and then action. Defining the action required is the tough part.
Be careful friends. There is a Facebook virus floating around right now that is sending private messages
