Any designations relevant to Canada that are worth pursuing? I know most are cash grabs, and the public doesn't understand a lot of them. I lost a deal on a relocation last year because I didn't have a CERC Specialist designation. To qualify for this designation it is $500 for the course and another $500/yr to be a member. Wondering if it is worth it...

I just picked up a used ipad2 on craigslist for a good discount from retail ($500 for 64GB WiFi). Wifi only is fine since the iPhone can be used as Personal Hotspot. I will use this until it makes sense to purchase the newer model. If iPad 4 is expected out fall 2012 I'm not sure why anyone would buy a 3 in the spring particularly if the only major improvement is retina display.

Well, given that designations aren't relevant to the U.S., I don't see why it'd be any different for Canada. (ducks for cover)
