Does anyone know why Active Rain sold to Zillow? Is this just a good financial move for AR owners, and not a particular benefit to AR bloggers.? I don't blame owners if they could make a lot of $$. Just curious.

In creating a video, I am not able to insert music from iTunes on my new PC to iMove-Maker, although I have done this before on old laptop. I click on "iTunes" and it says file is empty. Ideas??

Yes I use youmail & it rocks! All messages can be saved-- old too. you can also assign a greeting to each caller---& there r some funny ones! All free.

If you haven't used it in many months, sounds like you don't need it.

Kristi McCurley Nelson SM is super powerful. But it isn't the end means. You need a place you own to drive traffic to, and create business. FB could shut down your page tomorrow and you lose everything. Same with Twitter, YouTube, etc. Your site though, as long as it it on a platform you control and you fully own the site, you don't have to worry about that. The problem is that many try to do it backwards and build their business on a platform they don't own instead of just using the tool to connect people to their home base. Just because you get more comments on FB on a post doesn't mean it is more effective there. FB posts/Twitter streams have very short shelf life. Blog posts though on a site that are written with some good SEO principles in place that make them be found by search engines can create business for years. I've got a few posts like this from when I sold RE full time 4 years ago that still bring in business to me. Luckily I keep my license active and just refer it to my father. :)
