Betty Jung, I am speaking in Seattle on Tuesday and Portland on Wednesday next week. Please come up when there is a break in the action, introduce yourself, and have your biggest challenge in mind. After hearing what your biggest challenge is and meeting you, I'll give you a couple suggestions as I have been to every top conference ever held - and most multiple times. Also, I have no vested interest in any conference (except GenGen Events which I will not include in my advice). You're a blessing and you want to go to the best conference... for you. Now. How you are. Now. To move forward. Now. Some conferences will be too slow/entry level. Others will be more hands-on/instructional. Others will be giving suggestions that are for teams of 20. I'll take some responsibility to help you with this "value" decision you have. Looking forward to meeting you. Blessings, +m2Sounds like everyone is trying. Be interesting to follow for the next few months. I have my thoughts, but want to see how this transpires. Thanks all for continued updates, comments, and willingness to be open about the process. +m2
Joe, so true. Alexander J Wilkas, my pleasure. +m2
So, would love an update. If you care to express sensitivity to the vendors on the strand, that is okay too. But, what's the verdict. Looks like 6 months at this point. That's enough to make a sampling (IMHO, 1 month is enough, but let's give it the benefit of the doubt). Also, for those that said "you could" and "you can" do it another way, did you (and I'll take your silence as a no - and think about that when giving advice later - 'done' is far better than 'could' and 'can'). Sue Adler, I'm fine if you were paid for the promotion (and I hope it was a bundle for them using your name). I'm just looking for the results. I heard 2 listing appts, no listings, and didn't hear a cost. Bottom line: what is the ROI? Thank you! +m2
DiFronzo, great call! Thank you! Joe Pryor, hope this helps you as well. I honestly went with the FB registration because I thought it would be faster and easier for my friends. Glad Michael pointed that out! +m2
Hey guys, been quite busy running 2 businesses. Will have to check w/ my sales team on stats after they put together our year end numbers. I can tell you that unless you have a huge team for personal follow up, keep the amount of your top 20% at a number you can handle. We have 5,000 which is too much and mailings alone aren't enough. We now have about 30% of the email and phone numbers on the list but that took 6 months to get and we are really starting to work it hard now as we get into the new year. all hands on deck. I have them for a full year and will report back after I've given it a fair shot. But honestly, we should have really kept it at a more manageable number for follow up because we have no way of knowing how to prioritize them aside from the ones who logged in... it's not like idx where you can check last log ins.Hey guys, been quite busy running 2 businesses. To all of our members who were trying out this service, I'd love to get some feedback on your experience thus far
What Mr. Michael J. Maher said ;)
Michael J. Maher I didn't think you were judging. I struggle between hugging my existing database and working 2 areas around my house that help me keep my business within 3 miles of my house. Hope to see another book out of you this year. Merry Christmas dude. Cheers,
